Rejoicing for insurance!

We have received most of the insurance EOB for the surgery from the doctors and from the hospital.  If we were required to pay the full billed amount it would have been over $120,000! With the allowable amount being much, much less of course.  Either way it is crazy the cost of medical treatment. The hospital charged a little over $90,000 and was paid just over $36,000. We are counting our blessings for sure.
