Update from last night

Last night was a little more interesting.  Tammy has had some lingering affects from the anesthesia with a high degree of nausea. One of the nurses said that Red Heads tend to react more to medications.  Oh her lucky day!! Last night they tried 3 different anti-nausea medications all with no relief.  Unfortunately she was unable to take any pain medication from yesterday around lunch until Sunday morning around 2 am. We all know how horrible it feels when you feel like you want to just throw up.  She has been getting up about every 30 minutes to use the restroom, which is a good thing.  I am able to wake up and unhook the air tubes for some pads that go around her ankles to prevent a blood clot from forming in her legs.  It makes me thankful that I am able to be here to help her.
