Slow Down Nelly

Since she had the drain tubes out yesterday Tammy feels a lot better.  In fact, she tried to do too much (are you surprised?) and felt it later that night.  So I had to yell at her (not really yell, more like scold) to fight every instinct to get up go crazy active! Regardless we give God praise for the healing so far.

Tammy's nephew Josh, who is serving in the Air Force, will have a 4 hour layover at O'Hare airport on Thursday.  So we are thinking of trying a short trip to see him for several hours.  But we will see how things are going.

  1. Believe me Bryan, I know you didn't like having to scold Tammy about trying to do too much, especially after having gotten the drain tubes out, but I guarantee you, her not feeling so good, and her pain levels being extremely high was a very good object lesson in itself. You can try to tell her she is trying to do too much too fast, but her body will tell her in its way. If she needs to slow down and rest and won't listen, it will slow her down with the pain. I'm just sorry she has to learn that lesson that way.
We're always praying and love all of you
